We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data remains secure and under your control.

All performance data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to external servers unless you explicitly choose to share it.

2. Information We Collect

Match Motion does not create user accounts and does not collect personal identity information by default.

The app may access the following data only during active tracking sessions:

Location Data

Used to calculate:

  • Distance travelled

  • Speed and sprint intensity

  • Heatmaps and positioning

  • Acceleration and deceleration load

  • Session-based performance metrics

Location data:

  • Is processed only on your device

  • Is not transmitted to us

  • Is not stored in the cloud

  • Is not shared with third parties

3. Local Storage of Data

All training, run, and game session data is stored:

  • Locally on your device

  • Under your direct control

  • Removable at any time by deleting sessions or uninstalling the app

We do not maintain remote servers containing user performance data.

4. Data Sharing

Your data is shared only when you choose to export or send it, such as:

  • Sharing a session with a coach

  • Exporting a PDF report

  • Sending files via email or messaging apps

Match Motion:

  • Does not automatically transmit data

  • Does not sell data

  • Does not use analytics trackers

  • Does not use advertising identifiers

5. Third-Party Services

Match Motion may use platform-level services required for app functionality, such as:

  • Google Play billing (for Pro or Coach upgrades)

These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Match Motion does not receive personal financial information from these providers.

6. Children’s Privacy

Match Motion is designed for use by players and teams, including youth participants.

Because all data remains on-device and no personal accounts are created:

  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children

  • Parents and guardians retain full control through the device itself

7. Security

Because performance data is stored locally:

  • Security is primarily managed by your device’s operating system

  • We recommend enabling device passcodes or biometric protection
